I started making short films in 2010. The first one had no actors and no tripod: that's how \u00abOculto\u00bb was born. Over the following years I never stopped making shorts, some of them with renowned actors such as Nacho Vigalondo or Miki Molina and others with local actors, reaching the finals and winning awards with many of them at prestigious festivals around the world. In 2019, after shooting the feature \u00abMirando al mar\u00bb, I shot a short film with two of its leads that went on to more than 30 awards and selections.<\/p>\n\n

In 2019 and 2020, alongside my film work, I published my first novel \u00abCartas quemadas\u00bb (Burned Letters)<\/a>, available for free on this website. I also wrote and staged two plays, \u00abBruno\u00bb and \u00abCazadores\u00bb, which were selected at several competitions<\/p>\n\n

In 2020 I also wrote the pilot and the series bible for \u00abHermanos de sangre\u00bb, whose rights were acquired by Comarex for sale and production in the Latin American market.<\/p>\n\n

In 2021 I carried out my project \u00ab12 months, 12 shorts\u00bb https:\/\/angelpuado.com\/12-meses-12-cortos-2021\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n

In 2022 I shot my fourth independent feature as producer, screenwriter, editor and director. The film, which had a long festival run, was shot simultaneously in Valencian and in Spanish, resulting in two films that are quite similar and, at the same time, very different.<\/p>\n\n

I've currently written what I hope will be my next feature, \u00abEntre mesas\u00bb, which was about to be shot in Seville in 2024, although the project fell through at the last minute; this time it had a budget and well-known faces. I'm also trying to get my feature script \u00abHablar\u00bb off the ground, and I have several projects in development for which I've made trailers: the sitcom \u00ab\u00c1ngel y sus musas\u00bb and the documentaries \u00abLa movida alicantina\u00bb and \u00abEl exilio de las musas\u00bb<\/p>\n\n

Documentary<\/p>\n\n

A documentary about the mistreatment of culture in this country. It interviews and follows the daily lives of a guitarist, a painter, a flamenco dancer, a playwright and others.<\/p>\n\n
